DURING HIS TEENAGE YEARS, HE DOVE INTO PRODUCTION, EXPLORING VARIOUS SOUNDS BEFORE EVENTUALLY RELEASING MUSIC UNDER THE NAME 'CHECKPOINTS'—A NAME THAT REFLECTS HIS ONGOING EVOLUTION, BOTH MUSICALLY AND PERSONALLY. NO MATTER WHERE HIS CAREER LEADS, MUSIC REMAINS A CORE PART OF WHO HE IS, AND HE IS DEEPLY GRATEFUL FOR THE CREATIVE OUTLET IT PROVIDES.

During the height of COVID, I teamed up with New York rapper Brogawd, producing a gritty 9-track album entirely on my back porch. After three years of fine-tuning through an arduous mixing and mastering process, we're proud to present these raw, hard-hitting tracks .

A soulful, multi-layered track featuring longtime collaborator Akwe McDaniels on vocals, Gabriel Paul on sax, and powerhouse emcee Rad Alexander. Finding the right talent to collaborate with at this stage of my career was no easy feat, so I’m beyond thrilled with how everything came together on this one.

After quite a long hiatus from releasing music, the thought of putting new stuff out there was becoming increasingly daunting. Nonetheless, I kept making beats and eventually this one stuck. With some quick arrangements and a 70’s inspired synth solo, “Full Bloom” was ready to rock and I’m glad it’s out there.

Anyone remember that app, clubhouse? The one everyone hopped on for a riveting two months? It may not have been the life-changing career booster many were hoping for but it did put me in touch with talented singer/songwriter Maggie Glassman. It never ceases to amaze me the way different artists interpret my work, and in this case, it resulted in perhaps my most sexy song to date.
